"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom" Victor Frankl

I believe we all deserve good lives. Most of us experience events that become roadblocks to having a fulfilled life. I help find relief, growth, and healing working with tenderness and courage to help clients discover their voice, and be heard, seen, connected, and understood.

My approach is strengths-based, through an anti-oppressive lens, and grounded in social justice. I bring my own life experience to the counseling sessions as an immigrant and bilingual minority married woman with children. Throughout my life, I have learned to be resilient and face hardships with bravery and efficacy, but nobody can do it alone.

I have special interest supporting those with medical diagnoses and experiencing the challenges of caregiving in addition to trauma work, identity development, family discord, and relationship issues. I utilize an integrated style based on an existential, psychodynamic, person-centered, and trauma-focused theories and am Internal Family System (IFS) Level 1 trained.
